What's one of your personal favorite verses or passages that you turn to often and why?
I don't have any one favorite...but I do come across them regularly and think "I should print that out and post it somewhere"
That is kind of a hard question. I have a few in mind. One of them is Proverbs 31 because it describes the qualities of a woman who truely fears the Lord. It tells of the kind of wife and mother she should be, and if she is one that truely fears the Lord then she will be praised. This is the kind of a woman that each one of us women should strive to be like. One of the others would be I Cor. 13 because it describes some of the qualities of how a Christian should love one another. I think it could also be read at a wedding because that is also the kind of love that should be between a husband and a wife. Jesus said" that the greatest of these is love".
Yes, I agree. I think I'd have to say 1 Cor. 13. First of all, the greatest commandment is to love the Lord completely and second to love your neighbor. This passage teaches, I believe, the very core of Christianity -- the attitude rooted in everything we do.
