Over the last several years, we've been trying to correct Wyatt's strabismus/exotropia by having him wear eye patches certain amounts of time during the day. The last several times he's visited the ophthalmologist, we've seen a decline in his depth perception.
So, the time has come for surgery. He'll have his outpatient surgery Friday the 19th, in Austin. It's an outpatient surgery, and he won't even have to wear a patch afterwards.
We'll know more specifics before next week, but please keep him (and us) in your prayers!
